"This work is unlike any other, in its range of rich, conjuring imagery and its dexterity, its smart voice. Carroll-Hackett doesn’t spare us—but doesn’t save us—she draws a blueprint of power and class with her unflinching pivot: matter-of-fact and tender." —Jan Beatty

The moon does not fight. It attacks no one. It does not worry. It does not try to crush others. It keeps to its course, but by its very nature, it gently influences. We’re now less than $200 away from making this dream of attending the retreat with The International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers in August. I can’t even find the words to express how grateful I am to all of you, for giving, for sharing, for reading.
Meet the Grandmothers here in this video, and you’ll understand why attending this retreat would be truly the dream of a lifetime.
