Writing Political & Protest Poetry

“Boy breaking glass/Whose broken window is a cry of art”-Gwendolyn Brooks

I’ll introduce four approaches to protest writing, with examples, readings, and prompt writing sessions for each. These approaches will transfer easily to fiction or nonfiction. Takeaways will include a great continued readings and takeaway prompts for writing beyond the workshop. Cost for the day is $75.

Lunch will not be provided, but there will be several great restaurants within walking distance, or like me 🙂 you can bring your own.
